Leaving Home by arisechicken117 Leaving Home by arisechicken117
This is an image I put together recently. The Alien flagships actually took ALOT of time to do, though they are so small. I used the background of my design "Cup O' Cosmos" for this image, changed it up a bit, added and removed some features.

Enjoy! :D

Also, the image title comes form the inspiration of this song--->

Andromeda is headed towards us faster than the speed of a bullet. I thought this was supposed to be billions of years in the future when it will collide with the Milky Way ^◡^

Wow, looks pretty nice. I like the background, this galaxy and all the stars are absolutely stunning. Personaly I only don't like spaceships here, they look strange... a bit like torch, not bad but I'm not sure about them. Though, the whole picture is amazing :D

Yeah Id say the ships aren't too great either. I'm not commonly affiliated with working with sci-fi objects like them

Looks awesome man. Could have done without the light flares at the top, but everything else looks great.

Yeah kinda iffy about that also. But I feel that a life-bearing planet with no sun close by or in picture would seem suspicious. :/

This is true. You could also claim that planet had been terraformed by its inhabitants and they were keeping it livable.

I love the galaxy in the background and the lights on the moon. The ships look really good, too. Very nice work, it gives a nice feeling of the hugeness of space. :)

You say that, but without the colors you chose this picture wouldn't look nearly as good. (I would know; I almost never use color and when I do I mess it up) All of your creations are amazing! Heck, even the flaws are still epicly cool. :D

I have no idea when it comes to designing decent spaceships so they would have taken me ages too :petting: They look good though. The Earthlike planet is nicely done, it has a traditional look to it, and the galaxy is very realistic 8-) I'm only left wondering why there are heaps of lights on the dead planet and none on what is likely their home planet

Yeah. What I mainly do is make the ship in a large format image, then crunch it down to a much smaller resolution to enhance detail and of course sharpen. :D

Of course I didnt add it to the description, but the large ocean planets has a deadly neurotoxin that developed as the intelligent race evolved. They moved to their moon where most of the riches and resources are gathered.

Ahh, you saved yourself there with the description ;) Oh well, they'd be advanced enough to terraform that moon by now...they probably just haven't felt like it yet :paranoid:
